The C.R.E.W. (Christians Ready Equipped and Willing) Youth Ministry of Mount Carmel purposes to establish a foundation for building Christian character, morals, values and behaviors in young people ages 18 and under; by using creative methods to excite, inspire, capture and ignite young people for Jesus. Our goal is to enable young people to understand and recognize who Jesus is and what it means to live for Him only.

Our vision is to respond to the social and spiritual needs of the youth within our church and community by providing relative programs, activities, and events that will allow them to build a strong foundation of faith and that will enable them to express and share their faith through their own words, actions and deeds. We hope to encourage them to use their individual talents in order to nurture their growth as people of faith while providing volunteer services to the community.

The S.E.T. Young Adult Ministry is designed to foster a culture of genuine Christian fellowship amongst young adults, Men and Women, of Mt. Carmel Church between the ages of 20 and 39. We endeavor; to create a setting for young adults conducive to effective, impactful, and relevant corporate bible study; to establish a comfortable, safe setting in which young adults can share in intimate conversation with one another; to prepare and equip the young adults of Mt. Carmel for effective evangelism and outreach geared primarily toward other young adults.

The S.W.A.P. (Sisters With A Purpose) Young women’s ministry brings young women closer to Christ to deepen their faith, experience spiritual growth and define their true worth through fellowship and worship to glorify God.

We purpose to uplift the Kingdom of God by playing an active role in the community and supporting young women in their relationship with God so that through spiritual friendships, mentorship, motivation, and teaching one another, we can experience the freedom to become all that God designed us to be.

The EmpowHer Women’s Ministry of Mt. Carmel’s purpose is, with a servant’s heart, attitude and spirit, to allow God to work through us and in each of us as we lead and participate in the vibrant and challenging work of women’s ministry. We endeavor to work together contributing our God-given talents and skills all for the glory of God; in order to serve not only the women of Mt Carmel Community Baptist Church, but also those who need to be reached, ministered to, and loved outside the walls of our church, with the gospel and love of Jesus Christ.

The M.O.V.E.R.S (Men of Valor Evangelizing Restoring & Serving) Men’s Ministry… endeavors to strengthen males of all ages through Christian witness, renewal by discipleship, mutual service and the alliance of fellowship to better our homes, communities, and churches.

The heart of S.L.A.M. (Sharing Love and Mercy) purposes to reach out to the residents in adult care facilities with the love of our Lord, the Word of God & the offer of salvation through Jesus Christ. It is our goal to share the Gospel with those needing Salvation and to uplift and encourage those who have a relationship with the Lord. We hope to encourage spiritual growth regardless of the age or condition of the individual. We provide worship services, Bible studies, and personal visits to residents in area facilities.

Fishes & Loaves ministry purposes to take a portion of Mt Carmel’s ministry and resources to the community of persons that are in need of food, clothing, shelter, and other needs. In conjunction with other area resources and organizations we hope to, in the Spirit of fellowship with Christ, visit the sick and imprisoned, feed the hungry, clothe the naked and serve those in need.

The Fine Arts Ministry of Mt Carmel is an intricate part of the worship experience in which we help enhance the service by ushering in the Holy Spirit and creating an atmosphere of praise and worship that postures us to receive the move and purpose of God. We purpose to use the God-given gifts of song, dance, mime, spoken word, and theatrics to create an intimate encounter between the congregants and God.

The Usher’s Ministry of Mt Carmel is a ministry of men, women, and youth who have committed themselves to serving our church by keeping order in the sanctuary. The Usher’s Ministry purposes to ensure that each person attending our services has a joyful experience free from distractions. As stewards of the temple, we would rather be door keepers in the Lord’s house; welcoming all worshippers with a smile of love and thanksgiving, offering assistance in seating, directing facility traffic, meeting needs, offering a word of prayer.

Our expectation of the worship service is that it is to be a facilitated encounter between God and those who have come expecting to experience His presence, feel His heart and hear His voice. This experience is one of intimacy and concentration and is therefore expected to be unbroken and uninterrupted. It is our responsibility as ushers to facilitate this encounter from the time the worshipper enters until they exit and beyond.

The mission of the hospitality ministry is to provide a welcoming environment of love, acceptance, comfort, support, care, and unity for visitors, members, guests, and friends in order to enhance their worship experience, encourage fellowship, and help build a community of believers.

The hospitality ministry serves to reflect the love of Christ through expressions of gratitude, excitement, and enthusiasm, to create an inviting environment during our services and special events that is welcoming, Hospitable, Friendly, Organized, and Disciplined. We purpose to Create a sense of belonging for all making sure that each individual feels special and welcomed in our church home.
